I enjoy being creative using different mediums from paints to textiles. I like to start my works in a free way, slapping on paint, creating different textures, layering textiles, and so on. I often follow a theme, such as Native fauna. In this case I spend a bit of time drawing, in order to understand the subject and try different compositions, before committing an image to the work. I have enjoyed entering Waste to Art most years, in particular, working with found textiles and paper. I find doing creative projects very therapeutic, and it brings me great joy.
